New Conference Dates: August 24-28, 2020

Statement on COVID-19 and How it Has Impacted to the 2020 NJEPA Conference- March 24, 2020

Based on the current situation, and in the foreseeable future, NJEPA will be postponing the 2020 Conference. In addition to protecting the health and safety of all those who will be attending (attendees, speakers, instructors, sponsors, exhibitors, hotel staff and others) we do not want to distract from the important work you are all doing in "combatting this virus" and keeping the people of New Jersey safe and cared for.

Registration is still open and we are currently contacting our registered attendees, speakers, trainers and sponsors to confirm their ability to participate on the new dates. Please look for a separate email directly to you. If you must cancel your participation, instructions on how to do that will be in the email. Hotel reservations will be automatically cancelled, and you will have to re-register for the new dates.

Please be patient as we rebuild the conference for the new dates. We will be confirming and updating our training and breakout schedule and special event speakers. We anticipate this being completed in mid to late May, but we will certainly let everyone know when it is done as well as posting on this site. Additionally, we will be setting new dates for the Tuno Award and the Scholarship program nominations and application deadlines. They will be updated on the site and we will let you know those as well.

We are working through this postponement as carefully and methodically as we can to ensure that we bring you the best 2020 NJEPA Conference (version 2.0) that we can!

Our thoughts and concerns remain with our responders and those affected individuals and their families.

The NJEPA Conference

The New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association presents an annual conference to provide education and training for New Jersey's emergency managers, first responders and government and elected officials with an interest in preparing their communities for any disaster or emergency that may strilke. This conference is attended by professionals from New Jersey as well as the surrounding states and even representatives from other parts of the country as well as other Nations.

The NJEPA conference provides training, collaboration and promotes the development of public & private partnerships in planning, response, recovery and mitigation in all types of emergencies.
