Greetings,
On behalf of the New Jersey Emergency Preparedness
Association I would like to again welcome you to our
website and the 2007 New Jersey Emergency Preparedness
Conference.
The 2007 conference is scheduled from May 7th thru
11th, 2007 at the Tropicana Casino Resort in Atlantic
City.
This website details the 2007 program which has been
developed from the feedback we received from previous
years’ conferences. This included the evaluations
you completed as well as personal contact with many of
the key players in emergency management from around the
state. Once again, the conference is broken down into
training tracks.
The three training days (May 7th - 9th)
tracks are:
Hospital and Medical
First Responders
Communications
Emergency Management
National Incident Management System
The tracks for the full conference (May 10th and 11th)
are:
Weather
Domestic Preparedness
Response and Recovery
Emergency Planning
These tracks and the associated training opportunities
were developed in attempt to best meet the changing world
of emergency management while providing up to date information
to help you best accomplish the tasks that you have been
traditionally carrying out.
Registration for the pre-conference training (May 7th
- 9th) and the conference (May 10th and 11th) can be
completed entirely on line. Space is very limited in
the pre-conference training and we anticipate filling
the classes quickly. Please consider attending one, or
more, of the courses but if you are unable to attend
let us know so we may open the seat for someone on the
waiting list. Specific registration information and on
line registration and payment options are explained elsewhere
on this site.
As always, we are striving to put on the best possible,
most informative program that we are able. We need and
appreciate your input. If you have questions, comments,
ideas or concerns please get in contact with us.
Once again, on behalf of the Officers and Board of Trustees
of the New Jersey Emergency Preparedness association,
I hope to see you in Atlantic City in May 2007.
Sincerely,
William J. Melfi
President
