CAN I CANCEL MY REGISTRATION?

You can cancel your registration, however the registration fee is not refundable. You can transfer your registration to someone else to attend in your place with no problem.

NJEPA is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization and the registration fees go to offset only a small portion of the cost of bringing the conference to you. If someone will be attending in your place, please log back into your registration utilizing the instructions in your confirmation e-mail to make the change. Or you can instruct the person attending in your place to visit the On-Site Registration booth when they arrive and we can make the change at that time.

HOW DO I MAKE HOTEL RESERVATIONS?

Make your reservations directly with the Tropicana Casino and Resort by calling them at 800-247-8767or on-line by clicking on the links below. The Tropicana is offering a special conference rate of $70.00 per night in the North and South Towers, or $80 per night in the Havana Tower!   Use Code HNJEP12 for the $70 per night rooms, and  HNJEPH2 for the $80 Havana Tower rooms  when you make your reservation.  Try to make your reservations no later than April 11th, 2011 – requests received after that date will be accepted on a space available basis only.

WHERE DO I PARK?

The Tropicana has both valet and self-parking service available. Please follow the posted signs upon your arrival in the city. There is a fee for vehicles parking that are not staying at the hotel.

WHAT TRANSPORTATION IS AVAILABLE AROUND THE CITY?

The hotel valet service can arrange for taxi and limousine serve to anywhere in the city or region. Additionally, “Jitney” service is available to all of the casino property, Convention Hall, Atlantic City Stadium, and the rail and bus terminals. Also, there are a number of properties within walking distance of the Tropicana.

Registration will take place on the fourth floor of the South tower. Signage will be placed throughout the hotel directing you to the various conference locations.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE THE TRAINING CLASSES AND VARIOUS PROGRAMS WILL BE IN THE HOTEL?

When you register you will be given a conference program. The program will contain the agenda and the locations of each of the events along with a map of the hotel. Additionally, signage will be placed around the hotel directing you where to go.

WHERE CAN I EAT?

Thursday and Friday of the conference week, your registration will allow you access to many meals and coffee breaks throughout the conference location. Additionally, the Tropicana has numerous specialty restaurants, meal kiosks, buffets and lounges available. The other properties in the city also have a wide variety of restaurants offering all types of cuisines and price ranges.

WHAT ACTIVITIES DOES THE TROPICANA OFFER?

In addition to one of the premiere gambling locations in the city, Tropicana has numerous lounges, where entertainment is available nightly, a showroom and the Comedy Stop to name a few of the offerings. Additionally, the hotel has a pool, spa and workout room. Checkout the Tropicana’s website www.tropicana.net to view the activities that will be occurring during your stay at the conference.
