21st Annual New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Conference

Higher Education Initiative

Are your students PREPARING for careers in Emergency Management or Homeland Security? If so, you may want to make sure you and your students attend the 21st Annual New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association Conference at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ April 29th – May 3th.

The conference is the emergency management industry’s premier event in New Jersey. NJEPA will be offering a reduced student rate ($50) to encourage attendance. This year we are looking for individuals entering into the profession to attend the conference and to take part in outstanding training and breakout sessions as well as the new Young Professionals Engagement Event. This event is a networking event for young professionals to meet and network with emergency management industry professionals from New Jersey.

Besides outstanding training and breakout sessions, the New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association Conference also offers a large exhibit hall for Institutes of Higher Education to be able to display their course offerings to New Jersey Emergency Managers, Homeland Security Professionals, Public Health Officials, and First Responders.

New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association also proudly offers the Captain Jonathan C. Young Memorial Scholarship Program for three (3) individuals who are either involved in emergency services or have parent(s) or grandparent(s) involved in emergency services for the 2019-2020 academic years. (For more information and to download forms for the Captain Jonathan C. Young Memorial Scholarship Program visit NJEPA-2019-Scholarship-Application-Form (1).)

Please reach out to the Higher Education Committee at higher.ed@njepa.org should you have any questions about the conference. We are happy to work with you to achieve the desired learning outcomes that match your course or department.
