HIGHER EDUCATION INITIATIVE

Are you a student or do you have students PREPARING for careers in Emergency Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Emergency Preparedness or Homeland Security? If so, you may want to make sure you and your students attend the 24th Annual New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association Conference (NJEPA) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City April 17th-April 21st, 2023.

The conference is the premier emergency management industry event in right here New Jersey. NJEPA will be offering a reduced student rate ($50) to encourage attendance. This year we are looking for individuals entering into the profession to attend the conference and to take part in outstanding training and breakout sessions including the new Young Professionals Engagement Event. This is a networking event for young professionals to meet and network with public and private sector emergency service industry professionals from across the Tristate area.

Besides outstanding training and breakout sessions, the NJEPA Conference also offers a large exhibit hall for Institution of Higher Education to display their course offerings to Emergency Managers, Homeland Security Professionals, Public Health Officials and First Responders. The NJEPA also proudly offers the NJ Emergency Manager's Memorial Scholarship Program for up to three (3) individuals who are either involved in emergency services or have parent(s) or grandparent(s) involved in emergency services and are pursuing studies in emergency services for the 2023/2024 academic year. The NJEPA is also seeking students to volunteer for a unique opportunity to be a part of the management and execution of a world class conference.
